Hello family and friends. For those of you who dont know, I'm back home in good ol' West Virginia. In late 2006 I was offered a job as a software developer for Mantech International. They have an office in Hinton, WV. I was very suprised that such a large company would have an office in a small town in the middle of nowhere. However I was very happy to accept the position and move back home.

I lived in Blue Sulphur for a while in a small house I was renting. It was nice. It was way back out in the woods and was very peaceful. Dad tried to talk me out of renting it and trying to find something closer to civilization. I actually liked the place so I decided to rent it and hang out in "the sticks" for a while.

Last summer my landlord decided to sell the house I was renting so I was forced to move again. I really wanted to stay on the western end of Greenbrier county so I wouldn't have too long of a drive to work in Hinton. I also wanted to stay close to my girlfriend Cindi who happens to live in Dawson.

Anyways, after a month or two of looking for a good place to rent, I was finally able to talk one of my dads co-workers into renting me a house. He is actually trying to sell this house also but was not currently living in it. So for now I have a place to live until he sells this house. Its located in Dawson which worked out very nice for me.

Now that your up to date on where I'm at, I guess I can fill you out on some other things. I turned 29 this summer. It kind of depressing. I think I'll stay 29 for a few years. Cindi never misses a chance to inform me that I'm getting more and more gray hairs. I'm hoping that if I don't admit to getting older maybe my hair will stop changing colors.

I killed my biggest buck ever this year. It was a good 9-point buck with a 16 inch inside spread. There are picures of it in the photo album on this site. You should check it out. I shot him on Jamie's property. I do alot of hunting with him. I'm really glad he doesn't mind putting up with me because I'd probably never be able to kill anything without his help.
